Easter Road is a football stadium located in the Leith district in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the home of the Hibernian club of the Scottish Premier League. The stadium currently has a capacity for 20 421 sitting spectators, making it the fifth largest stadium in Scotland. Easter Road is also known for its fans as The Holy Ground or San Siro de Leith.   The stadium has also been used for international, semifinal of the Cup of the Scottish League and was, briefly, The local stadium of the Edinburgh Rugby Club.
The Hibernian played his first match in the current location of Easter Road in 1893. On January 2, 1950, a record number of 65 860 spectators began at the stadium for the Derby de Edinburgh.
