Nine million years-WoW players have spent so much time since the release of Blizzard’s online role-playing game in Azeroth and the surrounding worlds. For comparison: The first early people (i.e. the first further development from the great apes) developed around seven million years ago. The Blizzard community has gambled over a period of WoW, which lasts longer than the entire history of the Homini genera.
What does the season say about the popularity of WoW?
In view of this astronomical number, it is not surprising that the WoW fans on Reddit tear and complain directly that certain mounts are still uninhibited for them. On the comment of a player that he is still invincible, others remember their unsuccessful farm runs for the time-lost proto dragon or the heavenly onyx cloud snake.
Other players take on further mind games, such as the fact that, based on the current world population, everyone on earth would have gambled around 12 hours of wow (buy now) in their lives. The Reddit user Adanine makes another interesting invoice:
As a result, the players have accumulated around six million years in the first six years and six months after the release of WoW. From 2011 to the present, this number rose by another three million years in eleven years. So one could say: WoW’s popularity has decreased by three quarters over the first six and a half years after release in the past eleven years. Nevertheless, it is impressive how many users the MMORPG can still combine after 17 years. What do you think about that? How much playing time did you spend in WoW?
