A time ago an official site was revealed for the 20th anniversary of Fullmetal Alchemist , where the existence of a new Live Action film of this anime was insinuated. Well, Recently it was confirmed that not only an adaptation will reach the cinemas of Japan this year, but two tapes in total.
The first of these is hagane no renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-Hen – Fukushūsha scar (Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Avenger Scar) and premieres on May 20. Her story will follow the fight between Edward and Villano Scar. Then we will have hagane no renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-Hen – Saigo No Resei (Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Last Transmutation) On June 24 , which will show the final battle of the story.
These tapes will count with much of the repertoire of actors we saw in the 2017 movie Live Action . With Ryōsuke Yamada as Edward Elric, Atomu Mizuishi on Alphonse Elric’s role, Tsubasa Honda interpreting Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka will be Roy Mustang.
Considering that this type of productions always stay in Japan **, do not expect to see a premiere in the West of these two tapes. We only hope that the work that is being developed can not disappoint the fans, and this is a worthy way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fullmetal Alchemist.
